GENERAL RULES
Advances
- Regular Season: League advances at approximetly 6:00 am EST every two days.
LEAGUE SETTINGS
- Skill Level: Heisman
- Quarters: 4 Minutes
- Accelerated Clock: On
- Minimum Play Clock Time: Off
GAME SCHEDULING
Games must be played within the (48 hr window), the time for each advance will be posted in chat as a reminder for users.
24 Hour Acknowledgement
After each advance; it's the responsibility of each user to reach out and make contact with their opponent for that week's game. This must be done within the first 24 hours of each advance. Any user shown not to have reached out or acknowledged their opponents reaching out, will be subject to a force loss for that week's game. If a user receives more than (4) force losses in a single 17 game season, for not communicating within the first 24 hours of each league advance; will be subject to being removed from the league.
NOTE: Our League has zero tolerance of any user(s) not respecting other users time.
Delaying Scheduled Gameplay
Any user found delaying, stalling, not able to be found by their opponent or missing in action (M.I.A) from their scheduled game; will receive a force loss. Repeated offenses will be subject to sanctions up to and including being removed from the league. If both users have agreed to a time via Discord chat, that scheduled time must be placed in the chat so all members can see. Once that time has been made public, it’s official. Both users have a one hour window from the start time to (reschedule or cancel) the game. The 2nd attempt to play the game will not have a cancel game option, the game must be played. If the 48 hour time has expired for the (user vs user) game; the game will be simmed.
Auto Play
If real world obligations i.e. (Emergency, Work Schedule, Vacation or Traveling) comes up; preventing a user from scheduling a time to play their game. The user must notify the commissioner immediately and place their team on auto, so the opponent of that game can play the auto team. Any user placing a team on auto for more than (2) league week advances; needs commissioners approval. Commissioners may approve up to an additional (2) league week advances for a total of (4) league week advances. Meaning a user team(s) may be on auto for a maximum of (8) real-time days.
Extended Leave
Any user unable to keep up with league activities, because of real world obligations and needs to take a break. May leave the league in good standing. The vacant user team; will immediately become available for the next user on the waiting list or selected by the commissioners. WARNING: If any user(s) begins to show a pattern of putting their team on auto; a verbal warning will be issued by the commissioner. After receiving the verbal warning; any user(s) who continues the said act, will be removed from the league.
GAME PLAY
Lost Connection During Game Play
Your Internet connection speed makes a big difference in your online gaming experience. To participate in our league you must have a minimal connection speed of 4 Mbps this will ensure minimal lagging during gameplay. If a game freezes, disconnects or desyncs and a player is up 21 points that player can either elect to take the sim win or decide one of the following actions:
- Restart the game with the score intake.
- Restart the game and start (0 - 0)
- Decide to give the opponent with the lead the force win (W).
- Try and play at a later time (if still within the 48 hour window).
- Allow the commish to force sim the game at time of advance.
Whatever decision is made the commish must be notified at the completion of the game. If the decision is made that it will be a force win or loss, then a chat message must be sent detailing a sim win or sim loss with the name of the team receiving that action.
Playing CPU
A team unoccupied by another player is considered a CPU team. We encourage you to play those games. If a CPU team is on your schedule and you choose not to play that game, the game results will be simulated and you are at risk of losing. Games against CPUs are eligible for no more than three restart attempts. Players not following this rule will be ridiculed and disciplined. Those that violate this rule more than once will be removed from the league.
Illegal Game Play
In an attempt to maintain the highest level of competitive Madden games, certain actions or plays may be deemed illegal or glitch plays. NOTE: Any user(s) found to be engaging in behavior deemed detrimental to the competitiveness and fairness of the league. Will Be Removed Immediately.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Broadcasting
Streaming games on Twitch is encouraged but not required.
